Privacy Policy

What this app does

Violin AI helps users learn violin through adaptive lessons, AI-assisted feedback, sheet music, and practice tools. The service is built and operated by OrderFlow Pro t/a Violin AI using the Lovable platform and Supabase backend infrastructure.

Data we collect

• Account data: email address, name, and authentication provider (Apple, Google, or email/password via Supabase Auth).
• Profile data: learning path, practice goals, lesson progress, and journal entries.
• Audio data: microphone input used for real-time pitch analysis and recorder features. Audio is processed locally in the browser when possible and is not permanently stored unless you explicitly save a recording.
• Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and error reports to help us improve the product.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment processor references handled by Paddle. We do not store full credit card numbers.

How we use your data

We use your data to provide and improve the App, personalize lessons, track progress, process subscriptions, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers who help run the App.

Subprocessors and integrations

The App relies on the following service providers:

• Lovable / Supabase: hosting, database, authentication, and storage.
• Paddle: payment processing and subscription management.
• AI providers: large language model and text-to-speech services for the AI tutor and walkthroughs (processed through Lovable’s AI Gateway).

Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how the App is used. You can disable non-essential analytics in your browser or device settings.

Security and access controls

Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth with industry-standard password hashing and OAuth flows. Row-Level Security (RLS) policies ensure users can only access their own data in the database. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we are required to keep it by law. Contact us to request deletion.

Your privacy rights

Children’s privacy

Violin AI is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, please contact us immediately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy in the App or by email.
